We are thrilled to announce our graduation from business accelerator Smart City Works 2020.
“Smart City Works improves how start-ups go-to-market and helps de-risk commercialization, government procurement, and investments”
It was an amazing journey full of mentorship, access to investors and other support. The journey started on the 1st of Feb 2020 in Valo Park offices, Virginia, where we worked on HireRuby.

It was a pleasure to meet such great people from Smart City Works (SCW) and working together with them. We are so grateful that we were a part of the businesses accelerator.
“We were exposed to real-life classroom pivots that are affecting everyone globally. As we set out to make our mark in this world know that I am here to help beyond the cigar and bourbon.”
Keith Walker, Aer Wireless
We forged amazing friendships and business partnerships, indeed. And we are continuing to do so through the business network from SCW.

Although there were turbulences during this journey due to a set of pivots we made towards scaling our business and COVID-19, it has showed us that we make an excellent collaborative team and we can work hard and be flexible. We embraced the coronavirus limitations and pivoted our business to accommodate the situation.
It was such a great honor to pitch our startup in front of more than 150 people from business during the demo day on the 22nd of July 2020. We expanded our business network and received great points to continue improving HireRuby.
The best is yet to come.
